Currant

Ribes ecuadorense is a deciduous ornamental shrub that prefers full sun and medium watering. It grows to a height of 1–2 meters and is suitable for USDA zones 5–8. The plant blooms with pink and white flowers in April and May, and prefers loamy, sandy, or chalky soil.
