Currant

Ribes hunanense, commonly known as Currant, is a shrub in the Grossulariaceae family, grown as an ornamental plant. It typically grows 1–2 m tall and prefers full sun with medium watering. Suitable for USDA zones 5–8, it thrives in loamy, clay, or sandy soils. It blooms in April and May with white and pink flowers.
