Burbank Chestnut

Castanea burbankii, known as Burbank Chestnut, is a deciduous fruit tree that thrives in full sun and requires medium water. It grows to a height of 10-20 meters and is suitable for USDA zones 6-9. The tree produces white and pink flowers in May and June and prefers loamy, sandy, or clay soils. It is not fragrant but attracts pollinators and is non-toxic. It is not an evergreen.
