Blaringhem's Chestnut

Castanea blaringhemii, or Blaringhem's Chestnut, is a fruit-bearing tree that thrives in full sun and prefers medium watering. It can grow quite large, reaching heights of 12–22 meters, and blooms with white and pink flowers in May and June. This tree prefers loamy, sandy, or clay soils and is suitable for USDA zones 6–9.
