Currant

Ribes weberbaueri, commonly known as Currant, is a shrub grown as an ornamental plant. It prefers full sun and medium water, growing to a height of 1–2 meters. It blooms with white and pink flowers in spring (April-May). This non-evergreen plant is suitable for USDA zones 5–8 and thrives in loamy, clay, or sandy soil. It attracts pollinators and is not toxic.
