Currant

Ribes huancabambense, commonly known as Currant, is a deciduous ornamental shrub in the Grossulariaceae family, reaching 1–2 meters in height in USDA zones 4–8. It prefers full sun and medium water, growing well in loamy, sandy, or clay soils. This shrub blooms with white and pink flowers in April and May and attracts pollinators.
