Phlox diffusa, or Spreading phlox, is a perennial ornamental plant that prefers full sun and medium water. It grows to a height of 0.1–0.3 meters and blooms with purple flowers from April to July. This plant is suitable for USDA zones 4–8 and prefers sandy, loamy, or chalky soils. It is fragrant, attracts pollinators, is not toxic, and is not evergreen.
