Picea omorika
Picea omorika, the Serbian spruce, is an evergreen ornamental tree native to the Balkan Peninsula. It is well-suited for USDA zones 4–7, growing to a mature height of 10–15 meters. This tree prefers full sun and medium water conditions, thriving in loamy, sandy, or clay soils. Its distinctive, slender form makes it a valuable landscape specimen. It is not fragrant, toxic, or a significant pollinator attractant.
