Northern pitch pine

Pinus rigida, commonly known as Northern pitch pine, is an evergreen ornamental tree that thrives in full sun with low water requirements. It grows to a significant height of 9–18 meters and is suitable for USDA zones 3–8. This tree prefers a variety of soils including sandy, loamy, clay, and chalky types. It is not fragrant and does not attract pollinators.
