Currant

Ribes frankei, commonly known as Currant, is an ornamental shrub that thrives in full sun with medium water requirements. It prefers loamy, clay, sandy, or peaty soil and grows to a height of 1–2 meters. This plant is suitable for USDA zones 3–8, blooms in white and pink in April and May, does not have a fragrance, attracts pollinators, is not toxic, and is not evergreen.
