Aster

Aster ensifer is a perennial ornamental plant belonging to the Asteraceae family. It thrives in full sun and requires medium watering. This plant grows to a height of 0.5–1 meter and is suitable for USDA zones 5–8. It blooms from July to September with blue and violet flowers and prefers loamy, sandy, or peaty soil. It attracts pollinators but is not fragrant, toxic, or evergreen.
